Usually, you have a 1/500 chance of catching a Shiny Charmander in the wild. This means that for you to catch one, it will take you a few failed attempts 😐.
Once you secure a Shiny Charmander, the next step is to evolve it to a Shiny Charmeleon. You need 25 Charmander Candy, and you can obtain these by catching multiple Charmander, participating in certain in-game activities like raids, and completing special research tasks.
To further evolve into a Shiny Charizard, you need an additional 100 Charmander candies.
To increase your chances of catching a Shiny Charmander, be keen on sunny days since it is a fire-type Pokémon ☀. Also, you can expect them to show up once in a while during Raids.
Also, participate in research activities, as you may get one as a reward. To catch the Shiny Mega Charizard Y or Shiny Mega Charizard X, you need 200 mega energy.
