The Thunder punch, which is a base attack, can be learned by Mega Charizard X. For Charizard to learn this move, you need to evolve your Pokémon to its Mega form while also replacing the Charizard attacks with the evolution attack.

It is also best to teach Charizard Electric moves when going up against Flying-type Pokémon. If Charizard cannot get to its opponent while it is up in the air, it can use its Electric move to bring it down to its level.
