This Pokémon requires a special event for it to be encountered. Mythical Pokémon such as Deoxys cannot be traded since they offer special treatment.

How do you get Deoxys in Pokemon Go if you can’t trade it?

The Pokémon is available in the form of a 5-star Raid in Pokémon Go.

Can Deoxys be transferred to another game?
👍Yes. For you to transfer Deoxys to another game, you must have the matching form from the main series games.
For example, if you have an attack form in the save file but have not changed it to the normal form, you may have challenges transferring it to another game since the game will not count the normal form in the dex.
Additionally, you must transfer a Deoxys that came from an older game or an event one before you try transferring this mythical Pokémon from Pokémon Go into mainline games.
If you are worried about inventory space and would like to transfer away your extra Deoxys, it is possible to make a transfer. You can transfer Deoxys to Professor Willow, even if it is a mythical Pokemon.
