As a dedicated Pokémon trainer, I have traveled across different regions, from Unova’s lively cities to Johto’s traditional landscapes.
However, the untamed wilderness of the Hisui region in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is incomparable. The excitement of encountering Pokémon in their natural habitats, observing their behaviors, and adding them to my Pokédex is an unparalleled experience.
This article will discuss transferring Pokémon to Legends: Arceus, including which Pokémon can be transferred and how to do it.
Let’s get started!
In Pokémon Legends🎮: Arceus, players can transfer various Pokémon from previous games through Pokémon Home.
This includes Pokémon from Pokémon Bank, Pikachu, Shining Pearl, Eevee, Sword and Shield, and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond.
However, not all Pokémon are transferable into Legends Arceus.
Those transferable include Pikachu, Raichu, Snorlax, and more. It’s important to remember that this information may change over time, so staying updated through the official Pokémon website or reliable Pokémon communities is recommended.
It is possible to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon Home to Legends Arceus. To do so, follow these steps in a table layout🥳:
Get Pokémon Home from the Nintendo eShop.
Ensure Legends: Arceus is updated.
Open Pokémon Home, login, and tap Pokémon.
Connect Pokémon Home to your Nintendo Account.
Games on your Switch will appear; choose Legends: Arceus.
Two boxes appear in Pokémon Home and Legends: Arceus. Move Pokémon between them.
Remember, only Pokémon in Hisui’s regional Pokédex can be transferred.
If you wish to transfer your Pokémon from older games into Arceus, it is possible, but with a condition. Your Pokémon must match the Pokedex of the Hisui region.
You can use Pokemon Home, a subscription service for storing and transferring Pokémon between different games to accomplish this.
You can transfer your older generation Pokemon to Pokemon Home with a subscription fee. From there, you can transfer them to Legends Arceus.
However, not all Pokémon are eligible for transfer due to the game’s setting and narrative limitations🙂.
To move your Pokémon to Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you’ll rely on Pokémon Home. The process is straightforward🥰:
- If you don’t have Pokémon Home, download it from the Nintendo eShop.
- Make sure that your Pokémon Legends: Arceus game is up-to-date.
- Open Pokémon Home and login to your account.
- Tap the Pokémon button and link your Pokémon Home account to your Nintendo Account.
- A list of games on your Switch will appear. Select Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
- Two boxes will appear, one for Pokémon Home and one for Pokémon Legends Arceus. Here, you can shift Pokémon between them.
- Only Pokémon available in Hisui’s regional Pokedex can be moved to Legends Arceus.
If your Pokémon Home boxes are empty, transfer Pokémon from other games into Pokémon Home boxes first, then transfer them to Legends Arceus.
When transferring Pokémon from Pokémon HOME to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, it’s important to know the specific rules for each game.
While some transfers are irreversible due to unique stat mechanics, others are more flexible. It’s recommended to check the official guidelines from Pokémon Home or Pokémon Scarlet and Violet for the latest information on transfer rules.
While Hisui-exclusives in Legends: Arceus can be transferred to Paldea in Scarlet/Violet, it’s unclear if they can be transferred back to Legends: Arceus😉.
