Victini is a rare Pokémon with a 0% capture rate. Therefore, if you want to stand a chance to get the Pokémon, you have to try your luck by taking part in special events or Special Research lines. 🎉

🌟Victini is a Mystical type Pokémon that is very rare to capture in Pokémon Go. The Pokémon is so rare that it has a capture rate of 0% – this should tell you a lot about the Pokémon. 

Other factors that make it so rare is that the Pokémon cannot hatch from any eggs 🚫🐣. Secondly, the Victini does not evolve from any other form. Neither does it evolve into any other form.

How do you catch Victini?

To catch a Victini in Pokémon Go, you have to take part in the Special Research. The research line has six steps players have to complete to unlock Victini. They include;

🔍Step 1: Catch 30 Pokémon, Spin 30 PokeStops, and Send 10 gifts to friends.

🔥Step 2: Catch 30 psychic-type Pokemon, Catch 30 fire-type Pokémon, and Hatch 3 eggs.

📸Step 3: Take a snapshot of your buddy, Walk with your buddy, and earn 3 candies, Power up your Pokémon 3 times. 

⚔️Step 4: Win 3 gym battles, Win 3 raids, and Defeat 3 Team Rocket Grunts.

📷Step 5: Take a snapshot of Victini, Catch 30 different species of Pokémon, and Send 3 gifts to friends.

🎊Step 6: Clear 3,000 XP reward, and Clear 3,000 Stardust. 

By the end of the fourth step, you should be able to encounter Victini.

Why is Victini so hard to catch?

The main reason why Victini is so hard to catch is because it has a limited encounter rate as it is only made available in special events and Special Research.

In Pokémon Go specifically, you can only unlock it upon reaching the sixth step of the Special Research line.

And even in these research lines, the process can be a bit tedious and intimidating. Especially since some steps are specific on the number and type of Pokémon to capture for you to proceed.

Lastly, I suppose that the Victini being a Mythical type Pokémon naturally predisposes it to have a low catch rate. 🦄 📉

What do you need to get Victini in Pokémon Go?

You can get a Victini in Pokémon Go by completing the Investigate a Mysterious Energy quest in the Special Research line. 

Luckily, it is an easy Research line to complete. It automatically unlocks upon completing Step 6 of the A Thousand Year Slumber Research Line. ⏳ Fair warning though, it can get tedious going through all the steps. But capturing the Victory Pokémon is worth your while. 🏆 🥳
