My favorite part about playing Pokémon is looking for the legendary Pokémon. They make the game quite interesting because I discovered that they are rare to find, capture, and take out of their location .
I have been defeated severally by the legendary Pokémon, and I must attest that they have immense strength compared to other normal type Pokemon.
As a Pokémon enthusiast, I will help you determine what makes a legendary Pokémon, how it can be encountered, how it differs from pseudo-legendary Pokémon, and how it can be differentiated from mythical Pokémon.
What determines a Legendary Pokémon?
A legendary Pokémon is determined by its rarity and power and has unique abilities that cannot be found in other Pokémon in the game.
The Pokémon is legendary because only one can be located in a single game and cannot multiply like Pikachu’s and other Pokémon.
Legendary Pokémon is also determined by its inability to evolve and have similar features in all the Pokémon Go generation games created.
Furthermore, legendary Pokémon have immense strength and are quite hard to capture. They remain legendary because it is quite hard to learn their weaknesses and tough to defeat in battle.
Legendary Pokémon have mind strength, and it is quite difficult to capture and remove them from their original location.
What is the easiest way to find Legendary Pokémon?
There is no easiest way to find Legendary Pokémon but there are a few methods that lead to an encounter with them. The best method is through participating in 5-star raids by fighting the raid bosses and defeating them in battle.
You should head to the 5-star gyms, where you will find the raid bosses and battle them for a legendary Pokémon .
The 5-star raids method is the best because you can team up with many players to defeat the bosses.
Moreover, you can always restart the game when defeated as many times until you defeat the bosses to encounter a legendary Pokémon.
Each game revival means that one is closer to finding a different legendary Pokémon.
How do you encounter a Legendary Pokémon?
You can encounter a legendary Pokémon by engaging in a Giovanni quest line during the battle. Giovanni is a team leader that you should locate after a troubling situation in Pokémon Go.
Defeating a troubling situation means that you will receive super rocker radar that you should use to take you directly to Giovanni.
The Giovanni quest line has a 3 PVP phase, which you should participate in and defeat him in each encounter.
The victory leads you to an encounter with a legendary Pokémon. Mewtwo is a shadow legendary Pokémon you will encounter after succeeding in that phase.
You should be aware that Giovanni can be disguised, and you must be careful to uncover his identity.
Is a pseudo-legendary Pokémon the same as a legendary Pokémon?
No, pseudo-legendary Pokémon are not the same or classified in the same category as the legendary Pokémon. Pseudo-legendary are powerful but late in blooming and thus cannot be termed legendary Pokémon.
The pseudo-legendary Pokémon have base stats that are rival to the legendary Pokémon. They are different from the legendary Pokémon because they can be evolved since they pass through a three-stage evolution stage .
True legendary Pokémon cannot be bred or evolved since they only pass through a single stage. The only similarity they share is that they both have dragon-type features, but it is not enough to place them in the same category.

What is the difference between legendary and mythical Pokémon?
The difference between legendary and mythical Pokémon is how they are acquired during the game. One aspect about the mythical Pokémon is that they are extremely rare as compared to legendary Pokémon which makes it quite hard to be captured.
Legendary Pokémon can be captured through battles, but the mythical Pokémon can only be encountered through special events and promo codes introduced in the game.
Another difference between legendary and mythical Pokémon is their variety. Legendaries have a large variety while the mythical Pokémon remain limited since it is hard to find them.
Legendary and mythical Pokémon are different also because of their unique abilities.
Legendaries have abilities that prepare them for battle, unlike mythical Pokémon, which are purely fairytale-like and have dreamy features that set them apart from other Pokémon.
How many legendary Pokémon are there?
Legendary Pokémon are pretty rare and cannot be easily captured; thus, there are about 81 known Pokémon from Generation I to Generation VIII .
Legendary Pokémon are not densely populated because of their inability to evolve or multiply during the game.
