When I started playing Pokémon, I did not only want to play with the intent of entertainment but also conduct raids on other gyms. I have come to appreciate the significance of raid battles in my journey.
Besides enjoying the spoils of the raids, it taught me the importance of developing my characters by unlocking the various levels needed.
If you are wondering how you can unlock a 4-star raid on Pokémon Violet, stick with me as I unravel the simple procedures you need to follow to make this dream a reality.
When do 4-star Pokémon raids unlock? 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
To unlock a 4-star raid in Pokémon Violet, you need to earn your seventh Gym Badge in Paldea. These badges will enable you to make your fourth unlock and proceed to other star raids.
Gym badges are earned by defeating gym leaders and defeating them in battle 🗡️🛡️. Remember, this means you need to make gym raids on each leader and engage in battle to defeat them and collect their badges.
It is advised to ensure that each Pokémon is taken to at least level 45 to be able to engage each gym leader safely and win. These badges can be collected in any order you wish to follow.
What Pokémon do you need to unlock 4-star Pokémon raids? 🔥 🗡️
Not all Pokémons are capable of a 4-star raid. To participate in these raids, you must have Charizard and Eevee on your team; otherwise, other characters may not meet the qualifications.
These two have been classified as the primary tetra raid bosses, each with different abilities and limitations.
Eevee possesses three different tera types that can be defeated and captured making it limited in some way. On the other hand, Charizard comes with the “Dragon” Tera type, which is superior.
Other raid bosses include Absol, Rhydon, Tyranitar, and Golem. Moreover, it is crucial to ensure that they have attained the required level, at least 45, to conduct the raid successfully.
How long does it take to clear the requirements to unlock 4-star Pokémon raids? 🎮🌟
The journey to unlocking a 4-star raid is quite an engaging one, and it requires enormous time and effort commitment. Your time to advance to this level will depend on your commitment to the game.
You can complete these requirements in two days by taking 9-hour sessions dedicated to playtime each day.
This is true, especially for experienced players so that this time may vary depending on your experience level.
How do you identify 4-star Pokémon raids? 🗡️🛡️
There is no way to identify a 4-star raid on the map unless you go to the raid location. However, you can tell the raid level you are working on by the change in requirements needed to complete these levels.
This could include a hit point multiplier or the Tera Shard boost you get.
The 4-star raid is the second raid with requirements since one and two-star raids do not have requirements. For a 4-star raid, you need to earn seven Gym Badges in Paldea.
In addition, you can tell that you are on a 4-star raid by increasing hit points (HP) by a factor of 12. Finally, you will be rewarded with 1,200 league points after this raid.
How long do 4-star Pokémon raids last? 🎮🌟
Raids are normally carried out quickly typically every Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm. Typically, you will need about 5 minutes to complete each step, including the 4-star raid.
Each raid has a timer which enables you to track your progress. Note that you will be penalized each time your Pokémon faints or is attacked during the raid.
Moreover, each Pokémon comes with a different penalty for fainting, depending on its level. For instance, a level 100 Pokémon has a 75-second penalty for each death.
