Is Lechonk a Good Pokemon? (Is Lechonk a Strong Pokemon?)
When Lechonk first came out, I was convinced it was the best thing to happen to Pokemon Go 😊. I liked everything about it.
I especially liked its design and backstory. Like other players, I was blinded to its average stats and even used it in some battles.
In fact, at one point, it was my Buddy Pokemon. However, the excitement soon wore off, and I needed a strong team for upcoming raids.
Although I wanted to include Lechonk, a quick glance at its CP, Stats, and Movesets told me all I needed to know.
Here’s what I learned…
Is Lechonk a strong Pokémon?
Yes. Lechonk is a decent Pokemon. This Normal-type Pokemon resembles a hog. Despite its appearance, its body is composed of muscle. Lechonk relies on its excellent olfactory sense to locate and feast on fragrant herbs and berries.
This Pokemon’s gourmand nature causes it to walk long distances looking for food and contributes to its overall fitness.
Although its base stats aren’t impressive, they significantly improve when it levels up, enabling it to hold its own in a battle.

What is the highest CP for Lechonk in Pokemon Go?
Lechonk’s highest CP in Pokemon Go is 828, which is spread as follows:
- Attack – 81
- Defense – 79
- Stamina – 144
Judging from the high Stamina stats, Lechonk’s CP is focused on endurance. CP, or Combat Power, measures your Pokemon’s strength 💪. It combines several stats essential for measuring battle performance.
Like other stats, you can raise your Pokemon’s CP. For Lechonk, this means evolving it and using Stardust and candies.
A CP of 828 is decent for lower levels in the game. However, it won’t hold up against more powerful opponents and gyms.
Unfortunately, this is the highest Lechonk can go, meaning it won’t help in higher levels.
What is the best Moveset for Lechonk?
Lechonk’s best moveset is Tackle and Body Slam, which has a 6.4 Damage Per Second (DPS) score and can deal 66.4 damage.
This move set’s impact is boosted by Partly cloudy weather â›…. Tackle is a Fast Move, while Body Slam is a Charged Move. Both are effective against Ghost-type Pokemon.

What is Lechonk weak against?
Lechonk is a Normal-type Pokemon that’s weak against Fight-type Pokemon. Lechonk’s higher Special Defense gives it an advantage against Special Attacks.
Therefore, focus on Physical Attacks if you want to quickly end the battle.
Finally, Lechonk has some Ground-type moves. Thus, avoid Grass, Ice, and Water Pokemon when facing Lechonk.
