Is there a Grass and Psychic Pokémon? (What Psychic Pokémon can learn Grass-type moves?)

One of my favorite parts of the Pokémon games is trying out new Pokémon in the various series or after leveling up. Niantic has gotten more and more creative in their creations, and the psychic/grass types are proof of that💯.

Exeggcute, Exeggutor, Shadow Exeggcute, Shadow Exeggutor, and Iron Leaves are the only Grass/Psychic-type Pokémon in the games so far. In addition, we have Celebi and Calyrex as Psychic/Grass-types.

I’ve had the chance to play with all of these😊, and here’s what you need to know about this dual-type!

Thanks to the Pokémon typing system, various Pokémon learn different types of moves. Celebi and Calyrex are both Psychic-type Pokémon with secondary grass typing.

Therefore, they can learn several grass-type moves through breeding, leveling up, and technical machines (TM).

Some amazing grass-type moves that Psychic-type Pokémon can learn include magical leaf, leach seed, leaf storm, solar beam, solar blade, Giga drain, grass terrain, seed bomb, energy ball, and grass knot.

Due to their typing, Celebi and Calyrex get the Same Type Attack Bonus (STAB) from using magical leaf, leaf storm, solar beam, solar blade, and giga drain💪.

Keep in mind that grass moves are super effective against water, ground, and rock types. However, they are ineffective against fire, grass, poison, flying, bug, dragon, and steel types.

Several Grass-type Pokémon can learn psychic-type moves. The dual types are advantaged since they also benefit from STAB.

Exeggcute, Exeggutor, and their shadow forms can learn psychic-type moves since they have secondary psychic typing. Iron leaves also learn these moves because their tera-typing consists of Grass/Psychic/Fighting types.

Some great Psychic-type Pokémon that the Pokémon can learn through breeding, level-up, and trainers include hypnosis, reflect, confusion, extrasensory, psybeam, stored power, psyshock, agility, rest, ally switch, reflect, light screen, Zen headbutt, imprison, skill swap, trick, psychic, and psychic noise.

Grass is one of the base elemental types with fire and water, which make the three starter Pokémon. Statistically, grass is a weak type when compared with the other types.

It remains weak even when paired with other types, such as psychic, ice, and dark types😭.

The dual typing of psychic and grass types are vulnerable to dark, fire, flying, poison, ghost, and ice-types, which deal 160% damage. Additionally, bug types deal a 256% damage.

On the other hand, this dual-typing is resistant to electric, fighting, grass, ground, psychic, and water types, which can only deal 62.5% damage.
