One of the things I love about playing Pokémon is the exposure to endless adventures. Recently, I encountered a new quest where I needed to find the Pokémon with three leaves, also called the Petilil.

I had never heard of this one before and didn’t know where to find or catch it 😮.

You can find Petilil in Crimson Mirelands. If you are playing Scarlet and Violet, you can find them in the Paldea Region.

When you get to Crimson Mirelands, you want to focus on two special areas: the Cottonsedge Prairie and Hold of Trials. You will identify a Petilil by the three leaves on its head.

It resembles a bulb and is light green. Be keen to look near flowerbeds, as Petilil likes to grow near flowers 💐.

Once you locate a Petilil, approach it stealthily so you do not scare it off 😨. Remember that once you catch a Petilil for the quest, the requirement is that you give it up. Therefore, if you want to keep one in your collection, collect more than one.

If you are playing Scarlet and Violet, you can find them in certain locations within the Paldea Region. Always look near the flowers; this is where this type of Pokémon likes to grow.

You can find a Petilil by roaming around Crimson Mirelands and catch it by sneaking up behind it, throwing a Poke Ball, or running up to it.

You can identify a Petilil by the three leaves on its head. Usually, Petilil are not aggressive type Pokémon and will not attack you 😊.

If you wish to have your Petilil learn a few skills before you catch it, you can engage it in battle.

It is easier to catch a Petilil if you have unlocked a rideable Pokémon such as Basculegion. While this does not mean it is impossible to catch Petilil without a ride, the area is vast, and the extra help is handy.

Besides completing the quest, you also receive 5 Hopo Berries and 3 Fine Remedies as a reward for catching Petilil.

Is Petilil a Rare Pokémon?

No, Petilil is not a rare Pokémon. However, it is only found in specific areas within the game. If you are on a mission to catch one, you only need to visit particular areas to find it.

You will find them in Crimson Mirelands or the Paldea region if you play Scarlet and Violet.

Once you find them, catching them is relatively easy. They are not aggressive, and they won’t run.
