What Pokémon Can Breed With Eevee? (How to Breed Eevee)
I’ll be honest. The first time I saw Eevee, I was underwhelmed. At the time, battling other Pokémon was all I wanted, and Eevee wasn’t my go-to.
However, delving deeper into the Pokeverse helped me appreciate Eevee’s role in the game. Recently, I decided to try my hand at breeding them.
All I had was a male Eevee that I tossed into a daycare with Ditto and hoped for the best. Needless to say, that first attempt opened up a new world of possibilities for me.
So, I thought, “Why not share what I’ve learned?”
Well, here goes…

Should you breed a female Eevee to make Eevee?
Yes 😃. Breeding a female Eevee results in an Eevee. As mentioned, Eevee is compatible with other Eevees and Pokémon from the Field Egg group.
It’s worth noting that the offspring usually takes the female’s species. As such, using a female Eevee will result in an Eevee.
What egg group does Eevee belong to?
As mentioned, Eevee belongs to the Field Egg group. This group was previously called the Ground group. It contains many land-based mammals, some reptiles, and birds.
Popular mammals here include Infernape, Mamoswine, and Eevee. Ekans and Delibird represent the reptiles and birds.
The Field Egg group’s impressive selection makes it perfect for breeding multiple moves.
How to breed Eevee in Pokémon Go
Unfortunately, you cannot breed Eevee in Pokémon Go ☹️. So far, Niantic, Pokémon Go’s creators, haven’t introduced a breeding mechanic into their game.
Their reasons remain vague, leaving gamers to speculate that it has to do with maintaining balance in the game or protecting one of their income streams (selling incubators for hatching Pokémon eggs).
To get Eevee in Pokémon Go, catch it in the wild, trade it with other players, or hatch an egg.
Can you breed Flareon and Eevee?
Yes. As mentioned, Eevee is compatible with its Eeveelutions. Flareon results from using the Fire Stone on Eevee. It’s worth noting that the offspring here would be an Eevee.

- Breed the Togetic with a female Pikachu or Raichu to get a Pichu that knows Wish.
- Evolve the Pichu into a Pikachu and keep breeding it till you get a male Pikachu.
- Breed the male Pikachu with a female Umbreon to get an Eevee that knows Wish. You can evolve this Eevee into any of the available Eevolutions.
