How to use a Moon Stone to Evolve a Pokémon
Using a moon stone for evolution is easy😎. All you need to do is reach into your bag and select the item you need (the moon stone).
Next, choose the Pokémon to whom you would like to apply the stone.
As soon as you do that, a series of sparkles and flashes ❇️ emerge, and voila! Your Pokémon has evolved 👍.
What Pokémon can Evolve with a Moon Stone in Scarlet and Violet?
The moon stone’s use as an evolution item in Scarlet and Violet is limited. The only Pokémon you can evolve with the stone is Jigglypuff.
It evolves into the Wigglytuff, marking the only evolution in the Paldea region, hence the need for only one moon to use in the region.
You will not have to collect many moon stones 😰.
What Pokémon can Evolve with a Moon Stone in Emerald?
Like Scarlet and Violet, the moon stone’s use for evolution purpose in Emerald is limited. You can use it to evolve only two Pokémon: Jigglypuff and Skitty.
These evolve into Wigglytuff and Delcatty, respectively. You can locate the moon stone at Meteor Falls.
What Pokémon can Evolve with a Moon Stone in Fire Red?
The moon stone’s significance as an evolution item is most prevalent in Fire Red compared to other versions.
The Pokémon that could evolve using this item in this version are Nidorina, Nidorino, Clefairy, Jigglypuff, and Skitty.
Upon the evolution’s completion, the end-product is Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Clefable, Wigglytuff, and Delcatty, respectively.
Given the larger requirement of moon stones in Fire Red compared to other versions, you will need to collect more moon stones 😫: refer to the table for the location details.
What Pokémon can Evolve with a Moon Stone in Sword and Shield?
In Sword and Shield, Clefairy, Munna, and Jiglypuff could use the moon stone for evolution. These Pokémon evolve into Clefable, Musharna, and Wigglytuff, respectively.
As explained earlier, you can locate moon stones in similar locations for both Sword and Shield Pokémon versions. There is a 5% chance that the wild Clefairy and wild Lunatone hold the moon stone.
