I have always enjoyed playing Pokémon games since I was a kid. One of my favorite games is Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Facing Arven before getting to the Great Crater of Paldea can be dreadful.
His versatile and competent team will challenge you, so you should get ready. I’m thrilled to share the Pokémon Arven has in his team and their types.
So, let’s chat about what Pokémon types Arven has, what Arven’s team weakness is, what Pokémon you will need to defeat him, what happens when you defeat Arven, and much more!😁

What Pokémon do you need to defeat Arven?
To defeat Arven, you need to utilize his greatest weakness, the Fighting-type Pokémon. Arven’s team can counter many Pokémon types, but it may not be able to resist the hard hits from Fighting types 😈.
However, you will need Pokémon with sufficient coverage to defeat Arven. He has versatile types that allow him to use super-effective moves on other Pokémon, and his team can deal great damage.
What is Arven’s team’s weakness?
Arven’s team’s greatest weakness is the Fighting-type Pokémon. 4 players, Greedent, Garganacl, Mabosstiff, and Cloyster, out of 6 in his team, are weak to Fighting types.
Other weaknesses are Flying and Rock types.
What Pokémon do you need to beat Arven?
You will need to use as many Fighting-type moves as possible to beat Arven. Having many super-effective Fighting types is the best chance of beating Arven because it is his team’s greatest weakness.
However, Garganacl’s Stealth Rock move will deal massive damage to all the opposing players, and Mabosstiff’s Intimidate ability will lower the attack stat of the opponents.
You will need Pokémon that resist these moves, like Special attackers and Flying types.
How to Beat Arven in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To beat Arven in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you will need more Fighting-type Pokémon, Flying, and Rock types. Fighting Pokémon types are the best shot at beating Arven.
Lucario, a Fighting/Steel type, has a great chance of beating Arven with the Aura Sphere move. Strong Rock types can deal super-effective moves against Scovillain and Cloyster, whose weakness is the Rock type.
You can also have Flying types because they are immune to Garganacl’s Stealth Rock. Hawlucha, a Flying/Fighting type, would be great for using super-effective fighting-type moves while escaping Stealth Rock.
