What Pokémon does Cliff use? (What kind of Pokémon does Cliff use?)

I have played loads of Pokémon games since I was a kid, but Pokémon Go remains one of my favourites since its introduction.

Defeating the Team Go Rocket Leaders is one of the toughest Pokémon Go challenges, but not impossible.

It’s easy for Cliff to beat you in battle if you go unprepared, but that’s what I’m here for 😉. I’m excited to share what Pokémon Cliff uses in his lineup.

So, let’s chat about why it is so hard to beat Cliff, what Pokémon you can use to fight Cliff, how to beat Cliff, and where to find Cliff in Pokémon.

Why is Cliff so hard to beat?

It is hard to beat Cliff because of his powerful lineup of Shadow Pokémon ⚔️. Cliff has 7 diverse Pokémon with exemplary move sets and capabilities that can take any opponent down.

Also, the second and third rounds of the battle are uncertain. You can expect Dratini in the first round. But in the other rounds, Cliff has 3 potential Pokémon from which he can pick one: Slowking, Cradily, or Gallade in the second round and Dusknoir, Mamoswine, or Tyranitar in the third round.

What Pokémon should I use to fight Cliff?

How to beat Cliff in Pokemon

To beat Cliff, you need various Pokémon typings that counter Cliff’s lineup and resist attacks. Since you can only use 3 Pokémon to battle Cliff, you should consider his weaknesses.

Starting with a Dragon, Ice, or Fairy-type like Togekiss to beat Dratini is a great option. You can use Fighting types like Lucario against Cradily, Mamoswine, and Tyranitar. Ghost types like Gengar can deal with Slowking, Dusknoir, and Gallade.

Most players prefer using quick openers to attack Cliff’s lineup with fast-charged moves early in the battle so that Cliff has no shields left.

Where to find Cliff in Pokemon

You will find Cliff at PokéStops or on Rocket Balloons, but you need a Rocket Radar to locate him 😅. To get a Rocket Radar, you have to defeat 6 Team GO Rocket Grunts and then collect the Mysterious Components to build a Rocket Radar.

When you activate the Rocket Radar, you will locate a Rocket Leader, including Cliff.
