Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are 2022 split version releases of Pokémon; therefore, they are pretty different. However, they share one common theme: the passage of time.

Scarlet is centered on the past, while Violet focuses on the future.

Aside from that, the two-game versions have several parallels. In addition to the different exclusive Pokémon highlighted above, here are other variances between Pokémon Scarlet and Violet:

Player characters wear dark blue outfits.

Therefore, it is clear that even though Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are both part of Generation 9 Pokémon, there are big differences between them and their overall gaming experience.

Which Game Version Has Better Pokémon?

Trainers may have contrasting opinions, but many communally agree that Pokémon Scarlet has better Pokémon mainly because it has a superior set of Paradox Pokémon.

Paradox Pokémon are important characters to have in competitive play ⚔️. They boost Legendary Pokémon and can be custom-made off the fully-evolved version of the original Pokémon.

Pokémon Starlet is touted as having better-designed paradox Pokémon with stronger skills, while Pokémon Violet has Paradox Pokémon with more futuristic forms.

There is, however, a class of Pokémon players that believe Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have equally matched Pokémon since both have exclusive characters that cannot be fairly compared.
